- Create a welcoming, upbeat experience for every guest at the bar.
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to Base Camp recipes and standards.
- Handle high-volume service with confidence, accuracy, and a sense of urgency.
- Manage a full bar top while also supporting service well tickets.
- Enter orders accurately, process payments, and follow all cash-handling and sales procedures.
- Know the food, beverage, specials, and promotions well enough to answer questions and make strong recommendations.
- Monitor alcohol service responsibly, recognize signs of intoxication, check IDs when required, and involve management when needed.
- Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies throughout service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready bar before, during, and after each shift.
- Follow all health, safety, food allergy, and sanitation procedures.
- Use all tools, equipment, POS systems, and payment systems safely and correctly.
- Work as part of the team and jump in where needed to keep service running smoothly.
- Previous bartending experience required, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
- Strong beverage knowledge and ability to follow established recipes.
- Comfort handling both guest-facing bar service and service well volume.
- Friendly, confident communication style with guests, managers, and teammates.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and keep moving during busy shifts.
- Reliable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment with tight spaces, noise, changing temperatures, liquids, and cleaning products.
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to responsible alcohol service, teamwork, and Base Camp’s hospitality standards.
